[edit] Which Clone Wars toon planet?

Which "Star Wars: Clone Wars" planet is being named and profiled in the next WTS update? Is it from the montage in chapter 1 or chapter 22? From Ch. 1, I can remember seeing a planet with red atmosphere (possibly a sunset), one with heavy rain and mud (possibly Jabiim), one with a forest, mountains and a huge fortress, the one from the first scene with Yoda leading the attack. From Ch. 22, I recall one with aliens who had four red eyes, being held captive in a city by the Separatists, one with clam-like buildings built on a cliff next to an ocean, the barren planet where that big crab droid is destroyed by Anakin, the one with a huge fortress and the red-uniformed Separatist officer and the rainy one where Anakin and obi-Wan bring down a shield covering a city.VT-16 11:32, 29 Nov 2005 (UTC)

[edit] What to do with old images before their articles are made

Have we decided how to save the images of certain subjects in progress before their article is made but after they drop from the current spotlight? In particular the image of the cowering Ortolan, that unless looked up via the history, would get lost in the edits. Should we post them here until the article is made? -- Riffsyphon1024 07:37, 10 Dec 2005 (UTC)

  • Post them on the talk page? QuentinGeorge 07:41, 10 Dec 2005 (UTC)
    • Wow, I didn't know it was that easy. -- Riffsyphon1024 07:59, 10 Dec 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Table

Ooh, nice table KEJ 12:39, 19 Dec 2005 (UTC)

  • Thanks, it took a while :-) --Azizlight 12:44, 19 Dec 2005 (UTC)

[edit] I see a pattern emgerging :-)

    • EDIT - updated. --Azizlight 07:28, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
    • Me. Hopefully. Otherwise I place a fatwa on Pablo Hidalgo. ;) QuentinGeorge 10:43, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
      • You forgot Nex for Round 1. Shame shame ;). Cull Tremayne 01:21, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
        • I didn't forget - he wasn't a Wookieepedian at the time of his entry being published. That's the same reason Sompeetalay and some others aren't on the list either. --Azizlight 01:41, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
          • I just assumed it was because many of those people didn't have an account as of Feb. 6, my mistake. Cull Tremayne 03:18, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Later EU appearances and references

The UT-AT was in the Grand Army of the Republic article in the Insider.--Valin Kenobi 04:52, 11 February 2006 (UTC)

  • Thanks Valin :-) --Azizlight 06:04, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
    • It also appears pretty prominently in the Complete Visual Dictionary omnibus--taking up the better part of a two-page spread on clone walkers. :)--Valin Kenobi 05:14, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
  • I was flipping through Dressing a Galaxy: The Costumes of Star Wars, and I think it actually named Barrow Oicunn when it talked about his uniform, but it was a long time ago and I don't remeber it clearly. -LtNOWIS 05:49, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
    • He's in there, but only referred to as "Lieutenant Oicunn". Dressing a Galaxy (October 2005) was released before Oicunn's WTS databank entry was published (November 2005), so this doesn't count as a WTS reference. --Azizlight 13:40, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Date under the "current entry" image

We used to have the date that the next entry would go up under the image in the upper right corner, at least until the official site stopped giving one and left a vague "keep checking back for future entries" instead. However, since it still seems to be running on a two-week basis, would it be a problem if we added "Expected date"? We could even add a footnote that it's based on past performance and could change blah blah if we had to, but it would still be useful to have; as it is now, anyone who reads it has absolutely no idea when the next one could go up. - Lord Hydronium 07:46, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

  • No objections from me. QuentinGeorge 07:50, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
  • While I agree that it's likely to remain on the two-week basis, I think it's a little too speculative for Wookieepedia to do that. Easy solution though - just add the date that the current entry was posted, and people can figure it out from there. --Azizlight 07:54, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
    • That's why I was thinking of just calling it an "expected date", but that works too. - Lord Hydronium 08:59, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Valorum's Shuttle

  • The entry is actually about the class, not the specific ship seen in TPM. Should the link on this page be changed? QuentinGeorge 11:11, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Why don't we...

...have a What's The Story?-contest for the unnamed Dark Lord after the Jedi Civil War or the unnamed Red-armored Dark Lord?Unsigned comment by Pelle (talk • contribs).

  • Except for a few Clone Wars entries, all WtS subjects have been from the six films. If you're a Hyperspace memeber, I suppose you could try and reference those ancient Sith in your submission. —Silly Dan (talk) 23:07, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] What about the left-overs?

What about Teckla, Seib Nod and Okie Dokes? Why haven't any databanks come out on them?--Shannon.JediKnight 10.58 11 September 2007

  • We don't know. Slyther Bushforb is also still in limbo. Hopefully, they'll be coming soon. jSarek 01:11, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Question

Will they be doing this again anytime soon, as I think it would be interesting to create backstories for minor background characters so that they tie in with the entire Star Wars universe. Dark Ridley 12:55, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

  • "They" haven't indicated any extension of the What's The Story? to be released, but I'm sure that they will inform about it, if they'll planning to start it again.--Kreivi Wolter 20:22, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
