[edit] Actor

Anyone know who played the Colonel in ANH? --Eion 22:28, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Name Origin?

Anybody know who named him? I have a very strong suspicion that his name was inspired by a character from Sutâurufu, or Star Force: Fugitive Alien II as it is known to MST3K fans. There's a Colonel Yarulen (Yirulin?) in it who wears a white uniform (that's him on the right), and the main character is known as a "Star Wolf." No way this is a coincidence—especially since Fugitive Alien is a big fat Star Wars rip-off. Gonk 23:38, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Death

What source states that he was killed on the Death Star when it exploded?OOM-10 15:53, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Battle of Christophsis in 22 BBY?

Can anyone tell me which source states that this battle (from The Clone Wars movie) happened in 22 BBY? In material released ahead of the movie, Anakin appears to have his own Padawan (which would be a violation of the Jedi Code in 22 BBY while he was still himself a Padawan) and a facial scar Asajj Ventress gave him during the events of The Dreadnaughts of Rendili, which is set in 20 BBY.-Kev-La Ttolya 02:58, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

  • Although I personally haven't read it yet, I've heard that the novel indicates it happening within the first year. As for fitting in with other stuff, it seems that TCW is going to... change some stuff. The knighthood & scar things are likely just the beginning. -- Ozzel 03:09, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
    • Thanks for your help, Ozzel. I've begun to suspect that you're right about the new T-canon simply 'overruling' some existing canon and, if so, I find this lack of continuity disturbing. I'm not too bothered if they 'rewrite' the original 'Clone Wars' series this way, but if they do throw out the validity of the novels and comics I've spent years collecting, I'll most likely boycott the new film and series on general principle :( -Kev-La Ttolya 03:28, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
      • Leland Chee and others are in the process of rewriting the Clone Wars timeline. But yes, The Clone Wars takes place in 22 BBY. Grand Moff Tranner (Comlink) 11:48, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
        • Just a thought about the scar: we see Padme's reaction to Anakin's scar twice: on Naboo in Obsession, which clearly takes place about 6 month before ROTS and on Coruscant in Clone Wars Chapter 22, which doesn't state a period of time, only that in was after Anakin's knighthood ceremony. I wonder if they try to retcon it by having Anakin getting the same scar twice. That would be extremely funny, but will allow them to leave at least "Dreadnaughts" intact. • I was thinking about the scar issue today and came up with the following possible (but not likely ever canonical) explanation: After the new movie, Anakin's scar fades (over time and perhaps with the aid of bacta) but during Dreadnaughts, Asajj deliberately re-scars him in the same place. This would be even cooler if it was her that scarred him there the first time, perhaps seeing it as some kind of brand of possession. Just a thought :) -Kev-La Ttolya 03:18, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
