Unless someone complains, I'm removing all this new info added by the new user. It appears to all be about the Alien. Chack Jadson 21:08, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
- I hope you don't mind me taking your fun away from you. ;-) jSarek 21:54, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
- No problem. Thanks. Chack Jadson 20:07, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- So... the Alien universe is in the Star Wars universe? --DjMack Jorhaa'ir
- Well, it's ambiguously canon. Chack Jadson 20:47, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- Hey, at last it's better than Picard. Rodtheanimegod4ever 04:07, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- No, Bly, it's not, regardless of what some are trying to claim about the ambiguity of this article, it's noncanon and won't even be canon. jSarek 04:12, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

Read the page. It says that they appear in many Star Wars Sources. TheMasterDestroyer 4:49, 16 May 2007
Reptile?
Edit
The xenomorph should not be listed as a reptile, or anything, since not even fans no what kingdom the xenomorph is in.
- Then it's classified as exotic. -- Riffsyphon1024 05:36, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
- They are parasites not reptiles, whatch the Alien Movies! -- Awar 10:54, 29 June 2007 (UTC).
Holy smokes, I just found an discussion if xenomorphs are reptiles or not on Wookiepedia! Xenomorphs are not reptiles. They technically aren't parasites either. Only during the early part of the xeno life cycle. (Still can't believe I'm fixing a Alien article on Wookiepedia. It's like heaven for two of my favorite Sci-Fi series coming together!) - Xenomorphs, as was revealed in the Behind the Scenes bonus segments in AvP:R, have internal skeletons and a distinct skull with eye sockets. That skull can sorta be seen in the right light beneath the dark eye sheild. As for what they could be... Perhaps they just don't fall into any known classification. The exoskeleton would indicate a type of arthropod, but they also have internal skeletons. The reproduction method reminds me more of insects and parasitic organisms, such as tapeworms. Even though the parasitic behaviour is only in the early stages of the life cycle, it's enough to classify 'em as parasites to some degree. At least until a more definitive classification is revealed. Trak Nar Ramble on 02:11, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
- At any rate, no matter how you slice it, the ONLY potentially relevant information for the actual article (that is, not the Behind the scenes section) is what appears in InQuest 39 and other Star Wars materials. If InQuest 39 makes the claim that they're reptilian, then that's what they are. jSarek 02:44, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
- Per jSarek. While this xenomorph is heavily influenced by the Alien movies, it is not based on any information from the movies. —Xwing328(Talk) 03:33, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
- Either way, seeing 'em in the EU is pretty cool. Oddly, though, I'm not surprised to see 'em, as I mentioned in my edit summary a while back when I added some more BtS stuff regarding their ever-growing presence in other franchises. Trak Nar Ramble on 03:45, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
- Don't set your hopes too high. This particular InQuest article, while fun, was almost certainly neither meant to be canon, nor approved by Lucasfilm. jSarek 12:06, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
- I think they should be classified as insectoid: reptiles aren't generally parasitic, plus the hive mentality of the species suggests ants or bees PLUS the notion of a queen. Quiscustodiet 16:55, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

Xenomorphs Defy class.
Edit
It's all in the name people. What they are depends entirley on what host they had. If thier host was a primate, they will have a mutated DNA with some primate in it. If reptile, same thing.
- This right here. Xenomorphs are silicon-based life forms and defy class definition as we commonly know it. Having said that, I absolutely refuse to believe that Aliens (like from the Alien films) are actually somehow "canon" to the Star Wars franchise. And I'm a die-hard Alien fan. Phantom Menace
Edit
I read somewhere that Xenomorphs had a cameo in the Senate Rotunda scene of The Phantom Menace. 220.244.162.100 00:01, August 1, 2010 (UTC)
No. You are thinking of the Children of the Green Planet I belive.--UltramanFreak 01:30, November 22, 2010 (UTC)
