Talk:Yuma Desert

From Wookieepedia, the Star Wars wiki.

There's something wrong with this entry: The Yuma Desert is not in California. By definition, the Yuma Desert's western boundary is the Colorado River, which is the western edge of Arizona. So, if the filming was in the Yuma Desert, then it was filmed in Arizona. If it was filmed in California, then it was the Colorado Desert instead. Someone needs to figure out where exactly they filmed, to resolve which desert they were in. Again: East of the Colorado River = Yuma Desert, and West of Colorado River = Colorado Desert. Buttercup Valley (where they filmed the Pit of Carkoon) is on the California side, in Imperial Sand Dunes. The nearest town is Yuma, AZ. We can either rename article "Colorado Desert" or "Yuma vicinity" or "Buttercup Valley" . According to Insider 48, the Special Edition shots were also in Buttercup Valley.
