Yowza
Edit
Why is Joh Yowza, the best-realized Yuzzum to grace the screen, not the main picture? Instead there's that crappy muppet. Cutch 06:52, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
- Heartily disagree. Joh Yowza was over-the-top goofy and looked fake, fake, fake. Give me the Muppet any day. — SavageBob 16:40, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
- Riiiight... whatever. But there should at least be one picture of Yowza, whether you like it or not. Cutch 18:53, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
- Why does there need to be a picture of Joh Yowza? And please take a moment and read our guidelines on civility. There is no need to talk down to people or dismiss them with sarcastic comments. — SavageBob 02:18, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not talking down to you... it just seems that to not include Yowza because he looks "fake, fake, fake" isn't keeping in line with the unbiased attitude towards articles that this Wiki is supposed encourage. My apologies, but that's the way I see it. Cutch 03:17, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, no problem. The problem is that the article is kind of at maximum capacity of images as it is. Perhaps we could move to a <gallery> system to add another picture. But if we leave things as they are now, my argument against Joh is not that he looks fake, but that he doesn't illustrate anything in the article that isn't illustrated already. The images that are currently there each show some different aspect of Yuzzums: 1) Some have left their homeworld and use modern technology; 2) Some are blue and work for Morag; 3) Some have hooves instead of claws or paws, and 4) Some use primitive tools and ride rakazzak beasts. Joh's image would kind of replace #1 above, but the Muppet with a gun is a better illustration of a Yuzzum using technology than Joh singing is, in my opinion. — SavageBob 12:09, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

ROTJ
Edit
There were yuzzums in Return of the jedi?
Yes, there were. He is Joh Yowza. Zakor1138 04:02, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
- But he doesn't appear in the original RotJ, so why is that listed as (First Appearance) of the species?
- Wam Lufba does, somewhere in the background

Plural form
Edit
In Heir to the Empire, they refer to a species called Yuzzumi. Is it possible that yuzzumi is the plural form of yuzzum instead of yuzzums? In which source does yuzzums come from? Soresumakashi 06:58, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
Subspecies?
Edit
I keep noticing that almost all of the yuzzums listed look really different. Joh Yowza has a tubey kind of long nose and multi-jointed legs. The yuzzum from the field guide is completely different with really long legs, little ears, small nose, and kind of a moustache. The blue ones look like furry wolves, and the yuzzums like Schmood or Wam Lufbain one scene have humanoid legs, and their eyes and noses are melted together. could someone clarify why none of them look remotely the same please.--Thoggnee 22:38, May 22, 2010 (UTC)
- It's mentioned somewhere that there is an incredible amount of genetic diversity in the Yuzzum species. Wish I could remember where, but that's the official explanation for the variations you've noticed. ~ SavageBob 00:28, May 23, 2010 (UTC)
