NameEdit

Has this been confirmed as the name for Zann's group in Empire at War: Forces of Corruption? One of the developers referred to it here as the Zann Consortium. -- I need a name 23:34, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

  • Yes, I just saw that, so I moved the page. Lt. 1993 13:54, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

Government? Edit

Shouldn't this be as "criminal organization" instead? Kuralyov 21:16, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

  • I changed the table to an organization template rather than a government template. (Sirius Shadowflame 19:27, 12 October 2006 (UTC))

Mandalore Edit

Is it me, or does their emblem bear a resemblance to the Mandalorian symbol? 72.154.89.221 15:37, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

Mergers Edit

I've merged the Consortium Army and Navy articles into this one under their respective headings. Jwebb13HoloNetSith Emblem.svg 23:20, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

SymbolEdit

To me, the Consortium's symbol looks really similar to the Mandalorian symbol. Is it possible that Zann based it off the Mandalorians insignia, or am I imagining things?Darth Ceratis 00:26, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

  • Oops, sorry. Just noticed that it was already addressed earlier. Don't know how I missed that. Anyway, I agree.Darth Ceratis 00:27, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

Kamino misson Edit

Is the misson in the demo were Urai Fen moves the Consortium foces to kamino cannon? It was only in the demo it was not in the actual game. - User:General Layton

  • It's in the tutorial for the game, IIRC. -- I need a name (Complain here) 18:00, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
    • You do recal correctly. It's the last tutorial mission. JorrelWiki-shrinkable.pngFraajic 06:00, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

Mission Names Edit

Some of the names for various missions are really bad. For instance Consortium attack on Yavin. I think descriptive names like that are very stupid, and also it's hard to find the articles. It's should be something like Battle of Yavin or Mission to Endor. So, the above article should maybe be Mission to Yavin. Lord Zack 17:30, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

Consortium and Black Sun... Edit

I was just wondering, in FOC I think it is implied that the Consortium is actually more powerful than Black Sun--the most powerful syndicate in the galaxy, in fact, as Xizor seems to be scared of Tyber. This would contradict things that state that Black Sun is the most powerful syndicate in the galaxy. Or is Xizor simply a coward? I don't know...Unit 8311 12:48, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

  • I think you can say that, while Zann is more agressive and led by passion, Xizor is more careful. Coward would be wrong. It should be impossible for a coward to lead a top crime organization.Fleetadmiral Jack Ryan 16:36, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

It's Fixed! Edit

The article is fixed. There is no Boba Fett? Boba Fett? Where? And the other sign I don't remember.--Windu223 16:02, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

Brainwashing? Edit

I remember a cut-scene near the end of the game, were they mention conditioning/brainwashing, that sort of thing.

  • Seems like something that should be mentioned, though I forget the exact words of the conversation, I am sure it is there. It is when they make some capital ships available for construction. 65.27.139.162 22:49, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
    • You're exactly right. The mention is obscure, but apparently Tyber brainwashed his defilers...Sometimes twice, apparently.--1upD 23:40, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
      • I can't give the exact quote, but it went something like this, there are some unimportant parts to the conversation before. They weren't near the end of the campaign, it was just before Saleucami I think either that or before Dathomir. Urai Fen. "Also, I have heard of some dissension amongst our Defilers." Dissension isn't the word, but I don't have FoC installed atm to check. Tyber Zann: "Add another layer of brainwashing to their training regiment, I don't want our base above Ryloth compromised." There are parts missing, but that's the jist of it. Admiral Paul 20:20, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

corruption missions Edit

Shouldn't there be articles for some of the corruption missions besides the ones in the campaign? 09MurphyM 00:32, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

  • Too many to count. Admiral Paul 20:21, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

First appearance in game Edit

I put first appearances on the IG-2000 and Merciless in game. I made the changes when I wasn't logged in. Admiral Paul 20:14, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

Starvipers Edit

If Xizor has sole productions rights to the Starviper, then how did the Zann Consortium get them prior to Xizor's death?

there a criminal organization so stealing a starfighter design wouldnt be too difficult for them.

Defeat of Zann Consortium Fleet Edit

Message to Spacers #8, available in .mht archived format here says this, in the last paragraph of it's "HISTORY" section:

"Many years after Zann's fleet fell, the Crusader-class corvette would gain galaxy-wide notice again, when Admiral Daala emerged from the Maw installation and initiated her series of attacks on the New Republic. She included the two corvettes originally assigned by the Empire in her fleet. Her success with the ships proves to the Imperial Remnant that the ships are highly effective as anti-starfighter support vessels, and they renegotiate with Mandal Hypernautics to purchase a fair number of the corvettes for use in their own fleet."
―Message to Spacers #8[src]

Therefore, the Zann Consortium fleet "fell" "many years" before Natasi Daala attacked the New Republic, an event which is detailed in Dark Apprentice. I believe that the novel self-dates itself to 11 ABY. SinisterSamurai 01:19, June 28, 2011 (UTC)
