[edit] Biography
- "Tallisibeth, being a Jedi is about being resourceful, keeping your eyes open, and never, ever giving up. You taught me a lot about being a Jedi today."
- ―Pax Chizzik[src]
A native of Vorzyd V, Scout wielded a sky blue lightsaber. Scout was a pretty, red-haired girl with an athletic body in the eyes of fellow Padawan Whie Malreaux, who developed a crush on her. Her original mentor, Chankar Kim, was killed during the Clone Wars. Though she'd been taken on as a Padawan, she had a relatively weak connection to the Force compared to other apprentices and some of the senior Jedi doubted her chances to join their ranks. As a result she became a diligent student and spent hours on her studies, but privately she lived in fear that she'd one day have to give up her lightsaber and join the Jedi Service Corps. After winning a fighting competition through creative, non-Force methods, Scout was hesitantly taken as Jedi Master Jai Maruk's Padawan. Sadly, Maruk died a short while after at the hands of Asajj Ventress in Phindar Spaceport while he and Scout were on a secret mission with Master Yoda, Maks Leem and Malreaux, Leem's apprentice, to rendezvous with Count Dooku on Vjun.
On their mission to Vjun, Whie and Scout were captured by Asajj Ventress. Asajj held Scout in a tight Force Grip, and tried to tempt Whie to the dark side. She knew of the boy's feelings for Scout, and used it to ignite Whie's darker side by telling him to kiss her. In the end, Whie controlled his inner emotions and resisted the dark side. Just as Asajj was about to give the order to kill the Padawans, Solis arrived and sacrificed himself against the assassin to give the two adolescents time to escape. Soon, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker arrived to rescue Yoda and the Padawans, and Scout returned with them to Coruscant afterward.
When Order 66 was enacted, Scout was able to escape, and was later found by Nyreen Vollen, who brought her to Mandalore.
When Scout first arrived on Mandalore, Kal Skirata was initially shocked by Scout's resemblance to Etain Tur-Mukan, the similarities almost brought him to tears and made him struggle to keep his composure.
Scout lived in Kyrimorut and bonded with Mij Gilamar, who agreed to give her some first aid training, and Ovolot Qail Uthan who made Scout her assistant. When Skirata made a deal with Djinn Altis to take in the Jedi who were staying in Kyrimorut, Scout decided that she wanted to stay on Mandalore with Gilamer and Uthan, but was unwilling to give up being a Jedi.
[edit] Powers and abilities
- "She helps grow things, and says they thought she was a useless Jedi, more mundane talent than Force skills"
- ―Nyreen Vollen[src]
While Scout was somewhat weak in the Force, she made up for it by becoming highly skilled in lightsaber combat (although sometimes using practices that would get her killed outside a training session) and unarmed combat—not to mention a willingness to not always follow the proper rules of conduct. She also had a natural Force ability where, during sparring or fighting, she would sometimes have a flash where she knew what her opponents were going to do next before they even knew it themselves. This ability may have been related to Battle Precognition. Her habit of scoping out a situation and reading it just a little faster than everyone else had earned her her nickname.
