Taln Solwind was male technician who lived during the time of the Galactic Civil War. Sometime following the Battle of Yavin in 0 BBY, a Mon Calamari by the name of Ikka Gesul tasked a spacer with delivering a message to Solwind outside the city of Mos Entha on Tatooine. Despite being ambushed by two thugs, the spacer succeeded in doing so.[1]

Taln Solwind was a non-player character in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[1][2] Because Taln Solwind spawned under a generic template, his appearance was randomized, and may have included a variety of different species under either gender. While the canonical species of Solwind cannot be definitively determined in the Legends continuity, the quest dialogue identified him as a male.[1]
