- "This reminds me of Bespin. My Squadron scouted it once for a possible Imperial takeover. It was small, though..."
- ―Kasan Moor
Taloraan City, also known as Cloud City, was the capital city of Taloraan and one of the sites of the Battle above Taloraan. It featured several tall, spire-like buildings atop a massive repulsorlift generator, similar to technologies used on Bespin.

History
Edit
Taloraan City,[1] sometimes referred to as Cloud City,[3] was a city floating in the atmosphere of the gas giant Taloraan. The city was home to a series of tibanna gas mining facilities. During the Clone Wars it was visited by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker on a diplomatic mission.[1]
At one point during the rule of the Galactic Empire, Kasan Moor, commander of the 128th TIE Interceptor Squadron, scouted out the city, considering a possible Imperial takeover of the city and its resources. While the surrounding mining platforms were handed over to the Empire, the city itself was left alone, as it was too small. During the Galactic Civil War, Rogue Squadron destroyed the Imperial-owned tibanna gas in an attempt to weaken the local Moff Kohl Seerdon's resources.[2]
