Tamarack was a town on the planet Cilpar that was attacked and destroyed by Moff Boren Tascl in 4 ABY.

It was home to Cilpar resistance leader Elscol Loro. Elscol's mother was killed in the attack, and one of the resistances suppliers, Gates Harnik, was captured and hung from a lightpost.
