Biography
Edit
At one point during his career, Tantos Dree was pursued by the Galactic Empire and a bounty of 10,000 credits was placed on his head. Although individual who stated the amount was in the process of conning another individual into believing that his or her friends had been taken hostage by Dree.[2]
In order to escape from the planet Thorgeld, Dree managed to enlist the aid of the smuggler Roark Garnet and his freighter Dorion Discus.
As it was leaving Thorgeld, however, the Dorian Discus drew the attention of the Imperial customs frigate Assessor. As Garnet failed to bluff his way out of the situation, Garnet's young daughter, Jill Farseeker, suggested that they could hide Dree by having him exit the vessel and hold onto a rope. Not a fan of "being strung up like a yoyo," Dree took matters into his own hands and manned the weaponry of the Dorion Discus. All this time, Jackson Farseeker had been making the calculations for a jump to hyperspace. Dree managed to get two shots off at the "Impies" before the Dorion Discus made the jump and he missed both times. Seeing the characteristic visual phenomena of the jump to lightspeed, Dree expressed his relief that they were safely away. However, the Dorion Discus's shields had not managed to block one of the laser blasts that the Assessor had fired at it. Almost immediately after Dree had made the remark, an ominous clicking sound began to originate from the freighter's upper hull, in addition to slight fluctuations in its power output.[1]
Personality and traits
Edit
Tantos was hotshot bounty hunter. He eagerly fired back at a customs frigate from the gunnery bay of the Dorian Discus freighter, although he didn't have a chance against a ten times larger ship.[1]
