These duelists fought in the Taris dueling ring owned by Ajuur the Hutt on the planet Taris, where there was a following for the profession of dueling. These duelists included Bendak Starkiller, Twitch, Marl, Ice, Gerlon Two-Fingers, and Deadeye Duncan.

HistoryEdit

These duelists worked at Ajuur the Hutt's dueling ring during the days of the Old Republic. At one point, before the Sith took control of Taris and death matches were made illegal, Bendak Starkiller was the dueling champion. Later, after Bendak retired, Marl was the dueling champion, but he was defeated by the Rodian, Twitch.^[1]

In 3,956 BBY, the amnesiac Revan competed in the dueling ring and defeated Deadeye Duncan, Gerlon Two-Fingers, Ice, Marl, and Twitch, to claim the dueling title.^[1]

The dueling ring where the duelists competed was owned by Ajuur the Hutt. It was located in Taris's Upper City Cantina which was near Kebla Yurt's Equipment Emporium. Before every duel, the announcer would introduce each of the duelists and the match would then begin.

Before the Endar Spire was destroyed over Taris, Deadeye Duncan was ranked fifth in the ring, which was the lowest ranking.^[1] He was viewed by many dueling fans as not worth watching and the announcer at the dueling ring did not even view defeating him as an accomplishment. He often accused other duelists of gloating over him if they tried to speak to him after defeating him.

Duncan was the first duelist defeated by the amnesiac Revan, as the "Mysterious Stranger" in 3,956 BBY.

Behind the ScenesEdit

The Tarisian duelists were the duelists at the dueling ring in BioWare's video game, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

In the game, the player can choose if they wish Revan to fight the duelists, so Revan may or may not fight the duelists based on player decisions.
