Taspan

Taspan was the primary star of the Taspan system, that included Mindor. During the Battle of Mindor, asteroids and other planetesimals in the system became captured by Taspan's pull. Some of these clusters of rock included gravity stations which upon impact the star began to emit many flares and stellar tide surges of hard radiation that fried anything in their path. As the disturbances grew larger, the planet of Mindor itself became torn apart.
