- "There's a battle going on -- right here in our system!"
- ―Luke Skywalker[src]
The Tatoo system, also known as the Tatooine system, contained the planet Tatooine, which orbited twin suns, Tatoo I and Tatoo II. It was located in Arkanis sector.
The twin suns of the Tatoo system created premature aging in Humans on Tatooine.[1]

[edit] Behind the scenes
The game Star Wars: Rebel Assault shows an asteroid field right outside or near Tatooine. Although this isn't a contradiction, the field doesn't appear in any other official source. However Star Wars Galaxies shows an asteroid field near Tatooine.
In real life, twin suns in a star system is possible, and actually a common occurrence throughout the universe.[2] However, when Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope was made, this had yet to be discovered, and was assumed to simply be a fictional occurrence.
