The planet Tatooine had a unique system of navigation. The planet was divided into quadrants, and each point on the planet was represented by a set of coordinates that consisted of a letter, then four-digit number, then another letter, then another four-digit number.

The Dune Sea was located in the first quadrant, and Ben Kenobi's hut was located at coordinates Alpha-1733-Mu-9033 of that quadrant.
