Teaching Guides were teachers on the planet Kegan. The strict instructors, like O-Bin, taught students The Learning curriculum at the Learning Circle, outside the city limits of Kegan. The Teaching Guides worked with other Guides at the school including the Truant Guides, who made sure no students skipped school, and the Security Guides, who enforced behavior and ensured students did not escape the school bounds.[1]
