A TechPlate is a type of commemorative christening plate issued to newly commissioned starships or vehicles. Similar to SpecPlates, they contained blueprints on the internal workings and parts of a vehicle and the names of the design team. Unlike SpecPlates, however, they don't need to be issued by a high-ranking officer, and as the name infers only dealt with technical portions of the ship/vehicle. TechPlates were issued to the Incom Corporation T-65 X-wing starfighter, the SoroSuub Corporation X-34 landspeeder, the Corellian YT-1300 light freighter Millennium Falcon, the Sienar Fleet Systems TIE Advanced x1 (more specifically the one used by Darth Vader, and the Kuat Systems Engineering Firespray-31-class patrol and attack craft Slave I by the company ACME SpecPlate.
