In 19 BBY Jedi Knight Dass Jennir encountered one of these eels after escaping from Ken-Kiba's spice runner gang through a trap door in the floor of Ember's Fire in Noua. The eel attempted to devour Jennir, but the Jedi narrowly escaped when he was rescued by the fisherman named Fish.
