Telissa was an aide to Senator Uta S'orn of Belasco prior to S'orn's resignation from the Galactic Senate in 43 BBY. When Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn came to visit S'orn in her office in the Senate Building shortly before she resigned, she first mistook Jinn's knocking for Telissa when answering the door.^[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

Telissa was created by author Jude Watson and was first mentioned in the eleventh installment of the Jedi Apprentice series, The Deadly Hunter, which was released on December 1, 2000.^[2] The young reader novel remains the character's only appearance in Star Wars media to date. Neither Telissa's species nor gender is specified in the book.
