Telissa was an aide to Galactic Republic Senator Uta S'orn[1] of the Expansion Region planet[2] Belasco prior to S'orn's resignation from the Galactic Senate[1] in 43 BBY.[3] When Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn came to visit S'orn in her office in the Senate Building on the Republic capital of Coruscant shortly before she resigned, she first mistook Jinn's knocking for Telissa's when answering the door.[1]
