This is an infobox for technical and usage information on various classes of physical personal protective gear. The fields are relevant to armor, protective suits, and protective clothing.

Data fieldsEdit

• name – Simply list the name of the protective gear. Do not include any parenthetical disambiguation.
• image – Put a link to the main image which represents the armor. If the image is 250 pixels wide or larger, specify an image width of 250 pixels. If the image is smaller than 250 pixels wide, do not specify the size.
• imageBG – If the image is smaller than 250 pixels wide, listing the image's background color here will keep a large blue border from appearing around it.
• manufacturer – Put the manufacturer name here
• model – List the full official armor class name
• type – The type of protective gear (e.g. "Full body armor")
• culture – List the cultures that used the armor or cultures in which it is otherwise prominent
• creators – List the creators of the armor (in the case of specific individuals)
• created – The date the armor was created
• destroyed – The date the armor was destroyed
• discovered – The date the armor was discovered, if previously lost or hidden
• owners – List owners of the armor
• locations – List locations where the armor was known to be used
• cost – List the cost of the armor (and the currency type if known)
• value – List the real worth of the armor
• structure – List structural configuration features of the armor
• size – Size of the armor
• color – Color of the armor
• length – Length of the armor
• width – Width of the armor
• height – Height of the armor
• weight – Weight of the armor
• protection – List the types of attacks that the armor provided protection against
• capacity – How much the armor could carry
• range – How far the protection extended
• inscription – List any inscriptions on the armor
• markings – List any distinct markings on the armor
• purpose – List any special purposes of the armor
• heritage – The heritage of the armor
• era – List the eras in which the armor was used here
• affiliation – List the governments and major organizations that used the armor here
