Tensh Ly’alu was a male Bothan Jedi Knight who served the New Jedi Order. His first assignment, upon reaching the rank of Jedi Knight, was to monitor the Twi'lek homeworld, Ryloth, both for Force-sensitives and to watch for Jedi interests on planet. He felt he could do it but after discovering that most Twi’leks communicated with their lekku, suddenly was floundering. In an effort to enhance his fantastic information gathering skills, he attempted to learn the language but struggled.
