The Thanos shipyards were a shipyard located in orbit of the planet Thanos, in the Togoria system of Mid Rim's Taldot sector.[1] By the time of 4 ABY, it was considered as one of the 67 major shipyards of the galaxy.[2]
During the Imperial Period, it was operated exclusively by the Imperial Military,[2] and kept under tight control.[1] The shipyard produced only Imperial-class Star Destroyers.[2] After the Battle of Endor, the planet Thanos and its shipyard fell under control of High Admiral Treuten Teradoc's Greater Maldrood. Thanos was eventually captured by the New Republic in 8 ABY.[1]
