Thavish was a male officer of the Fleet Intelligence. During 5.5 ABY, he served in the rank of Commander as the intelligence coordinator of the Rapid Response Task Force commanded by Admiral Kalback. Before the Battle of Mindor, he gave a briefing to the captains of the task force, where he was ordered by Luke Skywalker to be concise and not to use euphemisms when talking about people dying.
