The Badlands was an extremely hazardous podracing course, of which Gasgano was the track favorite. The course put the racers in a path with dangerous obstacles, such as a sandcrawler, several vaporators, and enormous rocks. The steep dropoff resulted in fierce podracer combat. The sharp turns made smooth navigation nearly impossible, save for those skilled enough.
