The Bug Stomper was the name of a Republic LAAT/i gunship used during the Clone Wars.

CharacteristicsEdit

The nose of this gunship was customized with a painting of a clone trooper's armored foot squashing a bug, and the vessel's name written in aurebesh.^[5]

HistoryEdit

The Bug Stomper was used in the Second Battle of Geonosis of the Clone Wars. It was the Low Altitude Assault Transport used by Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Commander Cody and his troops to go to the Progate Temple in search of Luminara Unduli.^[5]

Behind the scenes Edit

Like many other references to the movie Aliens present in the Legacy of Terror episode, "Bug Stomper" was also the name of the Marines' dropship in that film.
