Era(s)

Old Republic era

The Champ was the nickname of a wealthy male Chadra-Fan on Nar Shaddaa who made a living playing pazaak, reputedly winning every match he played. He had a tendency to use the term "big stuff" when addressing members of physically larger races.

When the Jedi Exile came to the moon looking for missing Jedi Master Zez-Kai Ell, she visited the Pazaak Den in her search for information.

After the Exile had beat all the other pazaak players in the den, the Champ entered and challenged her to a match. However, the Champ's winning streak would then end in either one of two ways: either the Exile tricked the Champ into losing by making him believe that winning every game would be boring, or she beat him three times in a row at pazaak. The Champ declared that he would win no more from that point on, and gave the Exile a rare Tiebreaker pazaak card for besting him.

The Champ later helped the Exile's companion T3-M4 infiltrate Vogga the Hutt's droid warehouse. He sold the droid to B-5D8, claiming to have won it gambling, though in reality he knew of T3's true agenda to save his missing master and was helping him achieve this end by using his influence with Vogga.

Behind the scenesEdit

Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords: Prima Official Game Guide incorrectly classifies the Champ as a Snivvian.

If the Exile doesn't draw out The Champ by beating the rest of the pazaak players in the den, another Chadra-Fan, Kaalah-Nah, will replace the spot of the Champ in selling T3 to Vogga.

If the Exile dosn't draw out The Champ by beating the rest of the pazaak players in the den, and Kaalah-Nah dosn't talk to the Exile, the Exile can sell one of T3-M4 to Kodin, an Aqualish who sells parts. He then sells T3-M4 to Vogga.
