"The Deadly Dozen" was a fold-out poster article in Star Wars Galaxy Magazine 8, written by Andy Mangels. It profiled twelve Star Wars characters who embodied the dark side of the Force: Emperor Palpatine, Darth Vader, Joruus C'baoth, Palpatine's clones, Gethzerion, Hethrir, Irek Ismaren, Exar Kun, Ulic Qel-Droma, Lumiya, Brakiss, and Zekk. Artist Shawn Martinbrough provided an original illustration of Brakiss.
