The Hunt for Zaarin was a lengthy campaign in the Semag system lead by Grand Admiral Thrawn to bring traitor Grand Admiral Zaarin to justice. Thrawn used many assets to accomplish his mission to apprehend or destroy Zaarin, including Ace Maarek Stele, Missile Boats, and Task Force Whirlwind. Despite all efforts by the Empire, Zaarin eluded capture or death, yet Grand Admiral Thrawn came into possession of a new Cloaking device aboard CR90 Corvette Vorknkx.
