Obi-Wan Kenobi has lived for a year on the desolated Tatooine. One night, in a cantina, he overhears a conversation during which he finds out that Ferus Olin, Siri Tachi's ex-padawan, is still alive, but he is also in terrible danger: he was captured by the Empire, managed to flee and now he's an outlaw. Obi Wan decides to help him and flies to Bellassa, where Ferus is hiding. Unfortunately, the planet has just been invaded by the Empire. Obi-Wan begins to look for his friend.
Clone troopers are erroneously written as stormtroopers during Clone Wars and Battle of Geonosis.
It is noted that on the cover, Obi-Wan is holding his lightsaber from Episode I and II eventhough the book is set in the time period after Episode III. In Episode III, Obi-Wan used his final lightsaber.
