The Long Run

The Long Run was the starting leg of the Dragonbane circuit. It was a smooth straightway over marsh grass. Because it was clear of obstacles, it was easy for swoop racers to accelerate to high speed. This was also the dangerous part of The Long Run: racers could reach such high speeds that even slight mistakes could result in fatal crashes.
