The Rank was an aquatic dead zone in the planet Lamaredd.^[1]

Around 29 BBY, boats traveling through the Rank were attacked by a flotilla of Menahuun.^[1] Inhabitants of the nearby Cape Regret believed that the Rank was expanding itself, destroying the jungle around their coast.^[2]

Behind the scenesEdit

In the bad ending of the adventure Reckonings, Miss Mylla leaves Bartyn's Landing to start anew in Little Mon Cal, but his ship accidentally runs aground in the western part of the Rank. Mix Liddell believed that the Menahuun would probably discover the boat and attack, and prompted his friends to save her.
