The Scourge was a gang of pirates who operated in the outlying unpoliced areas of the Elrood sector. The organization was founded and led by Chalmer Trillili.^[1]

The gang employed a fleet of six stolen Skipray Blastboats, a modified space barge, a gravity well-equipped container ship called the Impasse, and Chalmer's own YT-1300 light freighter. The gang was secretly hired by Imperial Mining, Limited to guard the planet Alluuvia.
