The Serpent Masters is a comic strip written by Archie Goodwin and illustrated by Al Williamson, originally published in 1981 by the Los Angeles Times Syndicate. It was later reprinted in Amazing Heroes magazine #13-16.
It was republished by Dark Horse Comics, beginning on page 12 of Classic Star Wars 4, all through Classic Star Wars 5, and ending on page 6 of Classic Star Wars 6. It was again republished on StarWars.com's webstrips section of Hyperspace.

Plot

After his Mission to Fondor, Luke Skywalker escaped from Fondor with Tanith Shire who conducted him to Ophideraan, the planet where the young girl's father was enslaved by the Serpent Masters. They crashed on the planet and Luke was also enslaved. He eventually defeated the Serpent Masters by intercepting the signal allowing Serpent Masters to control their flying serpent and by killing Supreme Master Tyrann.
