"The Shanty of Cart and Cobble" was an old miners' song from the planet Akiva. The human child Temmin Wexley played the shanty on his family's valachord with his father Brentin Lore Wexley. After his father was captured by the Galactic Empire and his mother Norra Wexley left to fight with the Alliance to Restore the Republic, Temmin used the valachord as part of an opening mechanism for a secret door beneath his home leading to a series of passages under the city Myrra. For the door to open the first five notes of "the Shanty of Cart and Cobble" had to be played on the valachord.[1]
