Warning: This infobox has missing parameters: preceded by, followed by, cover artist, title, release date, series and unrecognized parameters: book title, publish date, timeline The Star Wars Cookbook: Wookiee Cookies and Other Galactic Recipes is a cookbook published in 1998, featuring a total of 27 Star Wars-themed recipes. As the cookbook is intended for a younger audience, the recipes featured are of a simple nature, all of which may be attempted by older children on their own, or by younger children with adequate parental supervision and guidance.
In keeping with its function as a working cookbook, the recipes are printed on a glossy, waterproof paper which can be wiped clean in case of accidental spillage. The exception to this is the last page of the cookbook, which is actually a pull-out-and-keep page of Star Wars-themed food label stickers featuring Princess Leia, Yoda, Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, C-3PO, Chewbacca and the Death Star.
The book was famous for giving the official recipe for Wookiee cookiees, a type of Wookiee food introduced in The Star Wars Holiday Special. The word "cookie" is our earth-based equivalent.
