The University of Sanbra Guide to Intelligent Life was a book on alien species written by Professor Tem Eliss. Professor Ellis was forced to go into hiding from COMPNOR when his book's pro-alien views were discovered by Imperial spies, and the first draft was anonymously leaked to underground communication networks.

The sourcebook Galaxy Guide 12: Aliens - Enemies and Allies was designed to be a collection of 'excerpts' from the first draft of The University of Sanbra Guide to Intelligent Life.

A regular feature in Star Wars Gamer magazine was also titled University of Sanbra Guide to Intelligent Life.
