Following the events of Return of the Jedi, the Alliance tries to rebuild its fleet at the starship yards of Fondor. When a supply problem threatens the rebuilding, Lando Calrissian sends Han Solo and Nien Nunb to the planet Vandelhelm, where Solo realizes that it doesn't always pay to listen to Lando!

- In this issue, Kashyyyk is misspelled "Kazhyyyk".
- The story was printed in three editions:
- First, by Marvel in 1985 as Star Wars 98: Supply and Demand.
- Second, by Dark Horse Comics, in 1995.
- The last edition was in 2003, as a part of a TPB edition named Classic Star Wars: A Long Time Ago... Volume 7: Far, Far Away.
