The Voice of the Republic
Voice of the Republic is an ongoing podcast featuring Joel Carroll, Ed Siemienkowicz, and Mike Wagganer. The show is known for it's mature content and brutal honesty when discussing the Star Wars Universe. The first episode of the show was released on December 11th, 2006 and each episode typically runs around 90-120 minutes in length. Topics, while always Star Wars based, range from news and toy reviews to frank editorial discussion of the franchise. The show, while still active, has seen a decrease in it's episode releases since co-host Ed moved to Japan. March of 2010 saw the return of Ed to the United States and the frequency between shows has since increased. The podcast is now recurring bi-monthly (approximately) now and hopefully continue that way for years to come.

Recurring Segments
Edit
Republicom
Edit
During this segment the hosts will listen to or read feedback from the listeners with the help of a surly R2 unit. The traditional sign off for a voice message is the "mouth 'splosion," where the speaker actually attempts to recreate the sound of a movie explosion using only their mouth.
Mike Wagganer's Kessel Run
Edit
The Kessel Run segment of the show is a dedicated focus on toys. It is usually started with stories of the hosts going to local stores and attempting to find new collectibles to purchase. The discussion usually goes on to reviews of items, both past and present, and a short overview of what items are currently on the market.
VOR Opinions and How People Like Them
Edit
The show is a standout among most Star Wars podcasts, not in the same vein as say the SWANcast or Rebelscum. A blazing visionary in their opinions, segments, and overall stance on not being just an apologists to the Prequel Trilogy. They're not always on the bandwagon with what Lucasfilm feeds to the masses but at least they give articulate and well thought out reasons as to why. So if you're ready to hear a raw and intelligent Star Wars podcast then subscribe to Voice of The Republic. Available on iTunes.
