Thedit was a male^[2] Jawa who lived on the planet Tatooine during the Galactic Civil War. He organized perimeter patrols^[1] for the Jawa Chief^[3] Kalit's territory. Thedit kept a watchful eye for krayt dragons, Tusken Raiders, and bandits working for^[1] Kalit's rival,^[3] Wittin.^[1]

Thedit was an inspiring leader.^[1] Even in the indigenous Jawas' simple societies, he still managed to become both a leader and an organizer.^[2] Thedit had yellow eyes.^[1]

Thedit was introduced on a card for November 1998's Special Edition Limited expansion set of Decipher's Star Wars Customizable Card Game. In 2001, the character was later mentioned on a card for the same company's Jedi Knights Trading Card Game.
