"Sienar Fleet Systems wasn't the only contributor, The company's design sense is all over the corvette, but every shipbuilder from Theed Engineering to Cygnus Spaceworks played a part in outfitting it."
―Artoz talks about the builders of the Carrion Spike[src]

Theed Engineering was a company which built and outfitted starships during the early years of the Galactic Empire's reign. The company,[1] which was named for the planet Naboo's capital city[2] Theed, was one of many that contributed to the outfitting of the personal starship of Imperial Governor Wilhuff Tarkin, which he named the Carrion Spike. When the ship was stolen by a rebel cell, a Mon Calamari member of the cell named Artoz recognized Theed Engineering's role in the ship's creation, as well as the parts played by Sienar Fleet Systems and Cygnus Spaceworks.[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

Theed Engineering was first mentioned in Tarkin, a novel written by James Luceno and released in 2014.
