Theodane Sardo was a male officer who served as Commandant of Camp Sardo on the planet Kashyyyk in 5 ABY. He managed the export of Wookiee slaves for Imperial projects offworld. After the Battle of Endor led to a drop in demand for Wookiee slaves, Sardo advocated the idea of crossbreeding Wookiees with another species like Talz for food.
Biography
Theodane Sardo was an Imperial Commandant at Camp Sardo on the planet Kashyyyk during the Galactic Civil War. He was responsible for overseeing the breeding and export of Wookiee slaves from Kashyyyk to offworld Imperial projects. A year after the Battle of Endor, the demand for Wookiee slaves dried up due to the massive defeats sustained by the Empire at the hands of the New Republic, the government created by the Alliance to Restore the Republic.[1]
Sardo corresponded with Grand Moff Lozen Tolruck by hologram and suggested farming the Wookiees for meat. Since their flesh was stringy and tough, he recommended fattening them up or crossbreeding them with another species like the Talz. Tolruck liked the idea and told Commandant Sardo to explore the plan. Ultimately, Sardo's plan was foiled by the outbreak of a planetwide Wookiee uprising that saw the destruction of Camp Sardo and the end of Imperial rule on Kashyyyk.[1]

Theodane Sardo was a sycophant who was willing to do the bidding of Grand Moff Lozen Tolruck. He was a sadistic and opportunistic commandant who viewed his Wookiee slaves as expendable livestock and slaves. Sardo was known to have eaten Wookiee meat, which he found stringy and tough.[1]
