Thermodraft, as it was called by Ozurist, was a stationary machine that was part of Coruscant's infrastructure. Located in The Works, Thermodraft was attacked during the Cold War by a group of "mobiles", rogue droids whose programming was corrupted in the Sacking of Coruscant. These droids were attempting to exterminate biological life on the planet so that they could rule it for themselves.

Ozurist asked a traveling hero to travel into the Works and save Thermodraft, as its destruction would result in a massive explosion and radiation leak that would kill billions. The hero was able to release the pressure values on Thermodraft's exoskeleton, releasing the pressure and averting the disaster.

Behind the scenesEdit

Thermodraft appears in Star Wars: The Old Republic, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game (MMORPG) by BioWare released on December 20, 2011. The Republic character is asked by Ozurist to fix Thermodraft as part of the mission "Meltdown!" on Coruscant.
