Thila was a small planet in the Thila system of the Outer Rim Territories, located in the Gordian Reach. It was home to a major Alliance to Restore the Republic base, Thila Command. The planet had relatively huge mountain ranges, of which the peaks of its gigantic mountains were visible from orbit.

History
Edit
Voren Na'al interviewed Luke Skywalker on Thila shortly after the Battle of Yavin.
Approximately eight months after the Battle of Yavin, Imperial forces under the command of Captain Kale Roshuir investigated a lead of possible Rebel activity on the planet, and discovered an underground base in the mountains on the planet. Upon entering the abandoned facility, however, stormtroopers triggered a booby trap which killed many of the Imperial troops, although Roshuir himself survived the incident.
Behind the scenes
Edit
The PC game Star Wars: Rebellion mistakenly places Thila in the Xappyh sector.
