The Third Systems Army was a unit of the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. It contained Parjai Squad, the 2nd Airborne Company, the 212th Attack Battalion, and the 7th Sky Corps. Possibly the 442nd Siege Battalion, and the elite 501st Legion.
It was commanded by High Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker and Clone Marshal Commander Cody.

The Third Army may be modeled after the 3rd American Army led by General George Patton. It is not beyond possibility, as the Third Army saw combat that would seemingly end a war.
