The Thorn monster was a giant walking vegetable beast made by Morag. The creature was able to persecute the young Ewoks Wicket Wystri Warrick and Princess Kneesaa a Jari Kintaka. But the couple headed toward the lake near the hot springs and jumped in for a swim, and when the beast followed them into the water, it began expanding so rapidly that it finally exploded, causing a rain fall over the forest.
