Thul Fain was a gambler who took bets at Jabba's Palace, including bets on the Galactic Civil War, and the time Rancor's victims would last against the creature.

He was formerly an Imperial pilot who worked with Lieutenant Tanbris. As of 4 ABY he was employed as a smuggler for Jabba Desilijic Tiure. He was present when the Heroes of Yavin came to liberate Han Solo.
