The Thunderhead was a New Class warship in the New Republic Fifth Fleet commanded by Captain Ssiew. It participated in a feint over Doornik-319 and fought in the Battle of N'zoth. Over Doornik-319, New Republic warships appeared from hyperspace in an attempt to draw off Yevethan defenders from N'zoth to reinforce Doornik-319. It was unknown if the Yevethans took the bait, but the Thunderhead was able to destroy an outbound Yevethan Aramadia-class thrustship in the process.

However, it was destroyed in the Battle of N'zoth by the Yevetha.
