Thustra was the homeworld of the Sephi. During the Clone Wars, they were ruled by King Alaric and represented in the Galactic Senate by Navi. The Sephi had lost faith in the Galactic Republic and were about to join the Separatists as Republic forces landed on the planet in 21 BBY. The Republic troops were nearly smashed by the Sephi. Jedi Master Yoda tried to persuade his old friend Alaric to capitulate, but he failed. At the end of their last conversation, Alaric tried to kill the Jedi Master but was ousted when Yoda reflected the shot back at him, which led to his death. Thustra left the Republic as a result.
