Tia Organa

Tia Organa was a member of the Organa family of Alderaan. She was the sister of Bail, Celly, and Rouge Organa, and the adopted aunt of Leia Organa. In her youth, she was once set to marry a member of House Vandron but the alliance was broken off due to scandal.

Tia had a number of pittins whom she spoiled, treating like they were her own children. They included All-Terrain Attack Vehicle, Taffy, Winkie, and Fluffy.

Tia died in the destruction of Alderaan.

"Tia" means "aunt" in Spanish. It is also Spanish slang for "woman, girl."

Aunt Tia is sometimes said to be the mother of Nial Organa, but it is not clear if there is any canon evidence for this.
